Autonomous Power Supply for Sewerage Plant
Böserle, Otomar ; Dřínovský, Jiří (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
The semester project called “The Autonomous System of Sewage Disposal Plant” seeks possible ways of using natural energy resources for purifying waste-water in areas without an l.v. access. We offer a possible solution in the form of fotovoltaic panels and we have also tried to find a compromise between the price and the sustainability of the system. Furthermore, we have designed circuits which could power the plant. We believe that after necessary tests and following adjustments the system could be used commercially. The part of the complete design dealing with gaining and accumulation of electrical energy could be used for other purposes too, e.g. for electrification of remote recreational areas.
Impact of Renewable Sources on Power System Operation
Malý, Jiří ; Rusek, Stanislav (referee) ; Modlitba, Petr (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
Doctoral thesis deals about primary and secondary energy legislation of the Czech Republic and proposes supplement to the legislation for renewable sources of energy. The thesis contents proposal of methodology of determination of available network capacity for connecting of new renewable sources. It analyzes current state of Czech electric power system and its possibilities for integrating new sources. It also determined available network capacity for connecting of new renewable sources in various regions of Czech Republic according to actual trend of renewable sources development. Next part of the thesis simulates impact of volatile large production of wind power plants in northern Germany in near future (year 2015). The thesis also contents proposal to the Czech power system reinforcements to eliminate negative impacts of loops flows.
Economics operation of Wind Power Plant
Osička, Aleš ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of this paper is to acquaint the readers with the types of wind turbines, with principle of their operation, construction design and conditions which have to be implement by the planned project of wind turbine construction before the construction is begun. There are described selected types of power plants from different manufacturers. Theoretical assessment of the adequacy of the power construction on exact place and implementing the selection of a suitable power plant according to economic evaluation method of net present value, internal rate of return and the payback period is also included. In the last part of the thesis, there is made the proposal of connection of the power into distribution system.
Project of Small Water Power Station
Hlavica, Tomáš ; Novotný, Jan (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
Hydroelectric power plants in the Czech Republic are the most important component of electricity production from renewable sources. A hydroelectric power plant in our country produces 3.9% of the total energy, which is almost half of the 8.2% of all renewable sources. Regarding the large hydroelectric power plants and those already in the Czech Republic is very likely to accrue more, because in this sphere we need to focus on smaller hydroelectric power plants, up to 10MW included. The task of this project is to design just such a small hydropower plants (SHP), which could be an interesting investment for people nearby of larger rivers. In the first part of my project is to choose a suitable area for construction of SHP. In the second part is ma task identify and propose solutions water and hydropower

Obnovitelné zdroje elektrické energie
Ondrášek, Petr
This work is about renewable sources of electricity. It discusses the particular characteristics and possibilities of current and future use of the most basic renewable energy sources. The work includes a basic explanation of the historical development and use of the energy potential of water, wind, solar and biomass. There is also included information about the early days of electricity, the most important personalities of these resources, their advantages and disadvantages compared with the fossil fuels. A separate chapter is devoted to the discussion of the necessary legal steps related to the current applicable legislation.
